Just curious if long days are the norm or the exception.

It's time to let the AndyW option go now.
We've have good milage with it, but it's not funny anymore.
It's tired.
It's old.
It's time has come.
Just let it go.Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

You will not get more than 8 hours out of me unless I bugger up and have to fix an issue.
A couple of years ago I was working for an IB and got dragged on the 26th of December, I had been out for a meal and had probably drunk 2 bottles of wine and a few beers, they phoned me at 12 just before I was going to go to bed. I had to head down and fix an issue with some Hong Kong deal valuation. I was rubbered, sitting in an empty office trying to hold it together as traders were screaming at me on the phone.
Feck being a hero, never answered a call from them again.Comment
