Do you have a clue what protestant means?

I am arguing with a man who will not admit to what church he practices under, ashamed I will rip it's beliefs to shreds when I find out they still denounce Darwin?. You want to protest but will not say the name of your protesting cult.

        Cult?

What the hell have you been smoking? Can you not show tolerance to another man's belief?

        Who is the bigot now?

Darwin? Right or wrong? your 'church' states that he is wrong. What is your view on this?

Of course you will not answer it, I know that, you know that because we will get to rip your beliefs to nothing.

Catholics are allowed to decide their own faith through learning the new testament and following the life of Jesus. It is a religion of interpretation, Churchill is correct that it means universal, we do not stick to rigid texts.

Amazingly tolerant thing this religion stuff. Not.

And people wonder why there are so many wars.....
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus

A religion of interpretation?? Catholicism is a religion of intolerance and this comes from experience.

Try and do your research on the Protestant faith before denigrating it, try researching the Protestant views on the corruption of the church, simony, purgatory, mariology, worshiping the saints, etc, etc rather than just see it as a group of people who decided they hated someone else. If you want to know about intolerance, my mum's priest refused to recognise she was married because my dad was Protestant. Very tolerant and open religion isn't it? The COS were more than happy to christen me and my siblings. The Catholic Church waged genocide on almost every continent on this world in the name of your religion and destroyed wide swathes of history just because it didn't match with their interpretation. If you ever go to Rome, ask yourself where they got all the material to build the churches and Vatican. Just exactly how much is locked away in the Vatican vaults?

You take advice on contraception from a man that's never had sex?? You pay money into church coffers that seem to ends up paying off countless victims of child abuse yet no-one seems to question this?? Your church sets up schools open to all (as long as you're of the Catholic faith) very tolerant, I wonder how the social education classes go at those schools??

You talk about cults, you're in one. I hate the Catholic Church, but please note I do not hate Catholics, I pity you instead.
For what it’s worth, I was christened COS, but I don't believe in god so don't tar me as a Protestant.

You support a football team that has recently officially acknowledged that they refused to knowingly sign Catholics for the best part of the 20th century, a football team that was up untill recently part owned by the orange order, an organization that is committed to stopping the papists when there was more orange orders in Glasgow than Catholics. You support a football team that was fined for singing **** the pope.

Your lot resent our presence and resent our presence in this country. And you know why you really resent our schools? It is because we have a higher educational standard, Catholic schools in Glasgow out perform non demoinational schools on every level.
