The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -

Nesh is definitely an East Midlands word for feeling cold (usually when others aren't) - everyone knows what you mean when you say it Nottingham.Originally posted by Bagpuss View PostA Nesh person.. is a poofter or lady who feels the cold. It's quite a localised word, even Mancs wouldn't know it.
In Nottingham 'tabs' are ears, in Gloucester they're testicles - even the girls winced when MrC walked into the local (when we lived there) and announced that he just had his tabs syringed...
that was just before he admitted that eating ice cream made his tabs laugh..."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."
