Don't forget chef - you're always busy, mulling over the issue.

Reminds me of my days in the RAF. When it was cold outside, we'd sit in the crew room in our gortex jackets. Then when the crew chief came in looking for someone to go out and do some work, we'd claim we just got back in and were having a quick brew.

    Worked every time...

    Older and ...well, just older!!

ditto here, not 'done' anything for weeks, don't think a renewal will be forthcoming

Just watched Damages on my iPhone to pass the time, and I usually walk to the furthest possible little boys room to spend a penny or two.

I've seen Wally from Dilbert recommend this approach and since Dilbert effectively models all the places I've ever worked at, I think it's safe to assume a lot of people are walking around a lot of offices with random scraps of paper.

Good job the paperless office never actually materialised, wasn't it?

How much chance did it have with so many people who have to pretend they’ve something to do?

Carry a clipboard and walk purposfully and no-one will ever ask you what you are doing.

Unless you're in Staples where they'll do you for shoplifting...

Or on the High Street where you'll be pestered to carry out imaginary questionairres.
I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt, not that fancy store-bought dirt... I can't compete with that stuff.

It’s alright. Get yourself a cuppa, read a few CUK posts, check your hotmail and then go for a tulip and you’ll be back to normal in about half an hour.
