Eh? You asked for £400 and get laughed at or were offered £400 and turned it down?Originally posted by contractTopermie View PostThis is my first post so go easy on me. applied for close dozen roles and got one interview but messed it up big time (rate £400/day).searching from Jan. You don't ask a question either, what are you after? A shoulder to cry on?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishing -

Happy for you - a dozen roles worth applying for is OKOriginally posted by contractTopermie View Postapplied for close dozen roles and got one interview but messed it up big time (rate £400/day)
Sad for you - never good to know you've blown it at interview - but chalk it up to experience.
£400 per day - No comment (as I don't know if you consider that a good or bad rate - wether you blew it or not)
See above - a dozen worthwhile roles in <1monthOriginally posted by contractTopermie View Postsearching from Jan.
Well obviously that only has meaning if we knew how long you had been contracting....Originally posted by contractTopermie View PostNever had more than 2 weeks bench time.

Apart from Java/J2EE, I have specialised skills like websphere portal server MQ broker and MQ/Tibco and banking/insurance background. I have been contracting close to 5 years. I do get calls for the roles across UK, but I am currently looking only london/M25 area due to my personal situation.Any suggestions to improve my chances in securing interview ?Comment
