The main problem with other countries is that they tend to be packed full of Johny-Foreigner-types who talk in funny ways and sometimes don't even support the England rugby team. Haven't figured a way round that one yet...
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Indeed. I mean with that expansive, crowd-pleasing and winning style why ever not?

Only reason I stay is good pubs and friends and family. Most people will realize that personal relationships are the one major factor holding them to the UK.

Indeed that is the defining factor in one's quality of life. Not to say it couldn't be done somewhere else, though. Some may say other countries could be friendlier.
              Hard Brexit now!

Sparkling Spring morning. Nice country pub at lunchtime with log fire but you brave the outside bench with your sweater still on, because you're thinking of the summer to come.

Russet-leaved Autumn evening. Nice country pub with log fire and you go inside to sit by it because you can feel the chill and the smell of the leaves makes you think of the smell of the log fire, and the smell of the log fire makes you think of the smell of chestnuts.

USA.. shoot first and ask questions afterwards
france, great climate lovely country but the people
                      Switzerland..
you really are dull if you want to live there
Germany.. great music as long as they import it from us
