            It has been sensibly pointed out (incl by me ) that some countries may qualify for having all the desiderata, but may not have them all in the same place, so one would have to choose the best compromise. Likewise, the UK might be the best choice, if only one chooses well where in the UK to live.

                      london?

                      1. Weather is mild - if a bit grey in winter
                      2. Lots of IT jobs - perhaps there used to be
                      3. English speaking - in some parts
                      4. Good schools - if you live in the right area/can afford to pay.
