Only reason I stay is good pubs and friends and family. Most people will realize that personal relationships are the one major factor holding them to the UK.Comment

Indeed that is the defining factor in one's quality of life. Not to say it couldn't be done somewhere else, though. Some may say other countries could be friendlier.Originally posted by Solidec View PostMost people will realize that personal relationships are the one major factor holding them to the UK.Hard Brexit now!

Sparkling Spring morning. Nice country pub at lunchtime with log fire but you brave the outside bench with your sweater still on, because you're thinking of the summer to come.Originally posted by Rookie View PostHot Summer Day. Nice Country Pub with Beer Garden. Cold Lager.
Cold Winter Night. Nice Country Pub with Log Fire. Real Ale.
Russet-leaved Autumn evening. Nice country pub with log fire and you go inside to sit by it because you can feel the chill and the smell of the leaves makes you think of the smell of the log fire, and the smell of the log fire makes you think of the smell of chestnuts.Comment

where does one start with this motley lot of third world turd eating racist nobodies?

portugal.. fine unless you want to work
Spain like Portugal without the "fine"
New Zealand.. good place to die of boredom
Australia..if you want to be cremated great
Canada, ok for two months of the year the rest you are snowed in
USA.. shoot first and ask questions afterwards
france, great climate lovely country but the people
Switzerland..
you really are dull if you want to live there
Germany.. great music as long as they import it from us
to the lot of them.
