Seeing a trend in the monkey - organ grinder situation
Basically the assistant calls to scope you out and see where you are working - talks about a role and then says his "Account Manager" will call shortly.
Exactly 30 mins later - Mr "I am your best mate" calls and says he thinks the CV will be ideal for a role but he cant tell me who it is with. Then goes on to state that they also work heavily with the client YOU are working with and mentions some fake names with the intention of your informing them that "no, not heard of them; I was working alongside Joe Bloggs"....and then they get to the "who recruited you there, or who was you dealing with".Comment
