Seeing a trend in the monkey - organ grinder situation

Basically the assistant calls to scope you out and see where you are working - talks about a role and then says his "Account Manager" will call shortly.

Exactly 30 mins later - Mr "I am your best mate" calls and says he thinks the CV will be ideal for a role but he cant tell me who it is with. Then goes on to state that they also work heavily with the client YOU are working with and mentions some fake names with the intention of your informing them that "no, not heard of them; I was working alongside Joe Bloggs"....and then they get to the "who recruited you there, or who was you dealing with".

I got the same email and I am in IT Security. Never dealt with SAP.

when I outed an idiot of an agent with name and details - the thread was pulled after a request from the guy.

they are thin skinned these people - we must not hurt their fairy feelings.

Just got this from an Agency - no prizes for guessing who again.

Company B - Around 40 vacancies


· This is an internationally renowned retail company which is currently undergoing a Europe wide SAP implementation/upgrade. The company is looking to take on board in various locations an array of SAP logistics, finance and technical experts.

Company C - 150 vacancies


· The company is an electronics corporation which is to undergo a complex integration and migration project. As a result they are currently looking to build an international team of SAP specialists to carry out all in-house project preparation duties and lead the way during the imminent SAP project which is due to start in Q2 2009.
