I find christians far more aggressive in their beliefs than atheists.

I never heard a Christian tell someone they're a moron for their beliefs. Well, ok if you look at deep-south Yanks, but their weirdness transcends their (alleged) faith.

Probably true, but that wasn't my point. Are the atheists trying to convince the majority of people who believe in some 'higher power', or engaging in a slanging match with one particular faith?

Someone who strongly believes there is no God after taking time to think about it, rather than someone who never really considered the matter and would say "I dunno" if you ask what they think about God.
