Favourite food to go with drinks?

What food, especially snacks, are your favourites with different drinks? Any really weird and/or specific combos out there?

Here are a few from me:

Tea - ginger biscuits OR bacon sandwich
Real coffee - Greggs fudge doughnut
Instant coffee - peanut butter sandwich
Lager - salt & vinegar chipsticks
Red wine - pimento stuffed olives
Single malt whisky - tesco cheese savouries

    Tea: Rich Tea biscuits.

    Coffee: Digestive biscuits.

Premier Inn Hotel Bedroom Instant Coffee With "I Can't Believe It's Not Rat Lactation" UHT Milk And Not Quite Enough Sugar: those two little gingery biscuits they also provide.

Wine (of any kind): Meat (of any kind, though Duck is always FTW).

Ale: Salted peanuts (although the fats and oils break down the polypeptide chains that form the head, but as I usually prefer ale with a minimal head, this isn't a problem for me. YMMV.)

I stopped drinking spirits some years ago, so no preferences there. Also, lager (of the kind sold in this country) is foul muck, so no preferences there either.

(Well, actually, I prefer water over British lager.)

      Tea - Milk chocolate digestives
Real coffee - Chilli chocolate truffles
Instant coffee - Plain chocolate digestives
Lager - Really spicy Thai crackers
      Red wine - Cheddar cheese
Single malt whisky - A cigarette (gave up 10 years ago but this is a wishlist, right??)

Basically I love cheese, chocolate, chillis and cigarettes.

Tea - only drink chinese green tea, so nothing (anything would clash).
Real coffee - er, nothing. I like the taste of coffee.
Instant coffee - don't drink it. Ever.
Lager - no particular favourite thing. Will eat if hungry.
        Red wine - cheese, meat.
Single malt whisky - nothing, almost anything would clash. Maybe vanilla ice cream occasionally: don't laugh, it has the same style of taste.

A pretty flat list: IMHO drinking is too serious to interfere with.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I blame it on the consumption of too much red wine in the preceding option.
