The problem is that if you vote LibDem you could end up with a Labour/Lib Dem coalition which we have suffered before, because it is extremely unlikely that the Lib/Dems would support the Tories. Then again, you would deserve everything that you get.Comment

On the other hand it might just give a major kick to the main parties. They might have to try to impress the electorate.Comment

Labour governments only try to impress the electorate within a year of an election by talking about adopting right-wing policies, as we have seen with their comments on immigration and crime. Once in power they drop them and slip back into tax, waste and political correctness.
The Tories always have their right wing policies and stick to them. You may not agree with them but you know what you get, and you will not get a tirade of lies and secrecy that are mark of Labour.Comment

This isn't aimed at you PB, but it's funny how people criticised the tories for 10 years for wanting to reduce public expenditure ("tory cuts"), but those same people are now dismissing them by saying they would have done the same profligate spending.
They can't have it both ways.Comment

The answer is, he wouldn't either. He would have taken his cue from the Bush administration and done nothing. I don't remember him mentioning it in the last election campaign. Do you?
I am sorry but I dont buy this link with Thatcher. The Tory press has been predicting this outcome now for several years, and at least Tory MPs understand the concepts of responsibility and understand markets far better than any socialist does.
A socialist is someone who has nothing and wants to share it with evryone else. They are getting their wish.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment
