Nah, Racist is my grandmother-in-law who, on being asked what she thought about the new president, came as near as dammit to saying she didnt think a little black man could rule America because it was too big for him.

She also said she thought he should eat more because he was too thin and people wouldn't take him seriously.

She's 87 and has long since given up caring what people think of what she says. She doesnt see the point anymore cos she could, in her words "be dead tomorrow so what does it matter".

      Note to Mods:
This is a joke!!! I'm not a racist!

      1. It reminds how much well-deserved hatred blacks might have for whites. I think they're pretty forgiving, really.
      2. Your Note: reminds us that we are sensitive about racism: there is a good reason for that.
      3. It is funny! (except if true. only joking)

I don't even notice skin colour any more. In fact I have to be told whether someone is black.

(Part of the reason being is that most black Americans aren't very black)

Would you have known that Obama was black for instance if you hadn't been told?

        Is he black?

Obama made a mistake swearing the oath and had to do it again the next day. If that had been Bush...

...they'd have had to repeat it 14 times with telecues, voiceovers and one word at a time, maximum 2 syllables.

I thought it was the official who made the mistake, not Obama

But as Chief Justice Roberts read out the oath for Mr Obama to repeat, he moved the word "faithfully" to the end of the phrase.

                  Steady on.

His blackness is what has made this exciting for people. Other than that, he's just another politician, who will talk another lot of balls.
