I bought some in Homebase a few weeks ago - wife doesn't like the CFL energy saving type - but the ones I got were a new type that are actually halogen in a normal fitting/bulb that use 30% less energy and last longer too.This default font is sooooooooooooo boring and so are short usernamesComment

I think these were 8 or 11 Watt. But I agree, the light isn't the same quality as an incandescent.Originally posted by zeitghostYes. Just as well really, since it takes about 5 "20W" 100W equivalent CFLs to produce as much light as a 100W proper bulb.Comment
