If there is liquid left over at the bottom, you must have put too much water in. Your technique will improve with further bedsit-bound practice.Comment

No! Pot Noodle must always be slightly over-watered, to allow the herbs & spices to be coaxed to reveal their rare and exotic delicate perfumes & flavours, and then a proper mopping-up with bread & butter. I can see that the age of the TV chef and the renaissance of haut cuisine has passed you by unnoticed.Originally posted by thunderlizard View PostIf there is liquid left over at the bottom, you must have put too much water in. The real solution is something I stumbled upon in my student days:
Pot noodle and chips.
Suprisingly good, with the juice acting as gravy.
These days I rarely entertain myself with one, since they stopped making (or at least selling near me) the Seedy Sanchez chilli variety. Even my old favourite, Chicken and Mushroom, has been tampered with and is nothing like the good old days.Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

Seedy Sanchez was the best. The only serious rival to Chicken and Mushroom.
I've tried a couple of the new ones - Lamb Hotpot and Chicken Satay - and they are horrible.Comment
