Society is going backwards, the more obvious reasons like growth of Islam and Evangelical Christianity due to African immigration is but half of it. There is huge funding flowing into the UK from the US where barking creationist nutjobs (like Palin) have greatly increased their influence in every arm of government and every sector of society.

I have no problem with any religious who just wish to follow their own beliefs but more and more these people are using every sort of lobby, exploiting every means to impose their blithering crap on the rest of us. Abortion, gay marriage, contraception to teenagers, none of their damn business!

I did the Alpha course, was good fun, not very good /convincing arguments, but am already a believer in God, the details however were not convincing but didn't
matter, really had a joly good time

What's wrong with Alpha? The entire point is you can go there and see what Christians actually believe (rather than judge from a Louis Theroux show) and argue back. All that Alpha asks is you take it seriously enough to actually think as you go through - if you are as skeptical/derisory afterwards that's 100% fine - and you also have better grounds to explain why Christians are stupid!!

Talking about this on my break. I love the idea of new global dilemma! All the trees and plants have comitted suicide, before long all green vegetation as we know has died and our oxygen levels are dropping!! Unless we KILL 30 thousand people per week we (as a species) will be wiped out!!
