This would mean few traffic police on the roads. I'll be taking my numberplates off or swapping them for a fake set for any trip long enough for it to be worth the hassle.

Bumbling along the M4 roadworks at 51 MPH, I was surprised to find cars suddenly roaring past at 90 but they exited off a slip road before the road works ended. So either they don't understand the concept of average (which I'm sure quite a few muppet drivers don't) or they know there's no camera on the exit.Work in the public sector? The good thing about them is if you get slowed down by a truck doing 60 for 2 mins, then you know you can do 80 for 2 minutes to compensate. Just keeping a mental idea of the balance.Cooking doesn't get tougher than this.Comment
