I mean, if it wasn’t the Angles it was the Saxons or the Vikings then the Romans and the Normans, and even now it’s the Poles.

Jealousy is such a horrible trait.

Boudicca is all I have to say to you.

As for any thoughts of the Roman conquest, only because they had tribal kings onside. If Britain had been a cohesive force, then no chance.

Democracy? Really? How's that then? It took a Scottish King to create the Union.

Google 'Iceni'. She was a Celt.

There was no 'Anglia' when she was around. The Angles who give Anglia (and eventually England) it's name hadn't invaded from Germany at the time of Boudicca. Neither had the Saxons or Normans.

Boudicca and the iron age tribes who inhabited this island when the Romans invaded were celtic, related to the celts of Scotland, Ireland and Wales, where we still remain to this day. The 'Britons' were us celts, you lot are just lorry-skippers.

To equate modern Scottish stock with the Celts of old is to compare the modern Greek to Plato.
