They are just a break away group of Methodists. So instead of having representatives of their church or circuit at the annual Methodist conference they have their own annual meeting.

About one nanosecond in my case. As a non-beleiver all this stuff just makes me think of that scene in The Life of Brian about the Judean People's Front. I really couldn't care less which branch of the I believe in a old bloke/woman/galvanometer with a beard gang anyone is in.

I was apparently brought up one. (A Methodist that is.)

Strangely all my church bothering family have never been to such a church for years.

Same as you, I was "brought" up as one also, but was dragged along to sunday school by my Aunt.

They are well into the religious thingy..... no gambling, no drinking, donate loads every month, I think they give something like 10/20% month

They're funny ones, Methodists. They used to be quite lefty in a Christian kind of Old Labour way, and then Dubya comes along. What's that all about?

I thought you were Catholic - you know being form Liverpool and the Irish connection and stuff.....
