Just talked to a mate who's a contractor at RBS. Basically said that we are only just finding out who has the debt from the credit crunch, deals will be made and takeovers in the next 6 months, then new jobs will be set up. Reckons a year from now we will be back on the up.....

By most accounts they need $80 billion within the next 2 days.

Not going to happen IMO. And yes, it's going to get very messy.
