The rulings of arbitration tribunals are binding in law, provided that both parties in the dispute agree to give it the power to rule on their case.
Not an issue. Don't agree if you don't think you'll be treated fairly.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

You think a Muslim woman has the power to disagree with a Sharia court ruling?
        What planet are you on?
        Bored.

Titter! No room for coercion there, then? My arse (TM).

            I have concerns about this.
There is an immense amount of pressure the muslim community can exert on it's members.
There is also an issue that whilst a sharia court would pass judgement in accordance with the Koran and the Hadith, it may not be regarded as fair under UK law. A devout muslim man or woman would not question or refuse to accept such a judgement. For instance, it states in the Koran how an estate is to be distributed when there is no will. Quite clearly it allocates 2/3rds to a male child and 1/3 to a female. It also makes clear provision in case of divorce.
There are also issues where a witness statement from a Muslim carries more weight that from a non Muslim.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

If she didn't, then it wouldn't be legally binding. If she was in any way forced into it, or forced to accept it, then she'd have UK law on her side. A Muslim man who wants to oppress his wife wouldn't bother with the court, he can just do it anyway.

              What planet are you on?

Today, Sharia Law to arbitrate a boundary dispute; tomorrow, heads on spikes and a big increase in prosthetics usage. Guaranteed.
