There is no such inheritance law in England unlike France. You can leave what you like to whom you like. (But not joint assets). I was an executor to a Will and it took three years and £50k to sort out a dispute where someone disagreed with the share out.

These women are not getting a fair deal and are obviously put under pressure to accept an unfair deal via a discriminatory process, or suffer the consequences.

If anybody thought for a millsecond that the judgements of these courts was being enforced by death threats, they wouldn't be tolerated. Fortunately the vast majority of muslims, just like the rest of society, are capable of being reasonable and law abiding, and anybody who isn't should expect the full weight of UK law to fall on them.
