What's the difference between this plan and the much maligned P(r)ole Tax that your friend Thatcher came up with?Comment

The pole tax was fair in that everybody who benefited from a service paid for that service (apart from those unable to do so) in equal amounts. There's a massive difference. Everyone, even slackers paid PT. In Jockland there will be more incentive to be unemployed and less worthwhile to work. They're pretty bright up there you see. Also it makes them less like rest of UK. If we had this local income tax they would probably be trying to replace it with the Rates. Helps their quest for independance. Roll it on I say.

How can it save the "average" family between £350 - £500 per annum, that means that the un-average family ie those who actually work for a living will end up forking out 2 maybe 3 times more than they are already!Cenedl heb iaith, cenedl heb galon
