I think she's a bit of a nut job. As for her being an alternative for Hilary voters? Only in America...
Which is why I think this will play a big part in the election - people have to remember it's happening in America.
Oh and to 'Likely' just 'cos you have an opinion on something doesn't mean you have to agree with it - stupid boyLast edited by foritisme; 30 August 2008, 08:26.Comment

I thought she was 'Pro Life' i.e. anti abortionist hence the decision to continue with the pregnancy even though she knewOriginally posted by snaw View PostOn the plus side she's female, evangelical, pro-choice (She had a downs syndrome baby despite knowing he was)How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't thinkComment

Yep she is pro-life, gun loving and has 5 brats.Originally posted by Troll View PostI thought she was 'Pro Life' i.e. anti abortionist hence the decision to continue with the pregnancy even though she knew
she also made a lovely speech going out to all the Hilary Clinton supporters about cracking the glass ceiling.
The only good thing is there may be a scandal about the fact that her office is involved in personally sacking a State Trooper, who happened to be involved in an acrimonious divorce with her sister.
I hope the Democrats remember to mention that in their campaigning."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

And I'm sure there'll be more where that came from...
Not known for their 'live and let live' attitude those pro-lifers, despite their rhetoric...

Things are getting interesting!
Palin is a creationist (believes the world was created a few thousand years ago by God) and is also completely against abortion.
Lots of rumours (and they are just rumours at this stage) floating around the internet that her fifth child (born when she was 43) is not hers but belongs to her 17 year old daughter:
"Bristol Palin left school for an extended period of time, due to mononucleosis according to her family for the last 4-5 months of Trig's pregnancy. Some classmates claimed later that they had seen Bristol Palin pregnant. Sarah Palin did not reveal to anyone outside her family that she was pregnant until 8 months into her pregnancy. Even then, she showed no signs of pregnancy. Alaskan news outlets commented on this, but did not go further."

Hyped by Democrat dirty tricks dirty tricks department: Times.
It looks like someone else is playing the 'Dictionary.com word of the day' game.
After the stunning and show-stealing announcement by Mr McCain on Friday that he had chosen the 44-year-old Alaskan governor as his running mate, new information emerged over allegations that she tried to use her gubernatorial office to take revenge on her former brother-in-law, part of an ethics investigation that will be released on October 31 - five days before the general election. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
