I wonder if Libya will offer to oversee the US elections again. Classic....absolute classic
Electronic voting machines made by a company deeply involved with one of the two political parties, and with no audit trail?? Americans actually going through the charade of voting is pointless - it has already been decided who will win this "election". The sad thing is that most Americans are too dumb to see it.
Does make for jolly good sport on the telly though....and keeps our useless shower off it too

There is loads...just google for things like Diebold (the company concerned), "dropped votes" "Ohio".Originally posted by Likely View PostHave you got any proof of that ? Many people doubt the fairness in both Bushes elections...
Even the head of Diebold (now called premier voting instruments I think) has come out and admitted that loads of Ohio votes were "dropped" due to a "programming error". Yeah right.
The last I heard, Ohio was going to sue. Maybe that's why the company changed its name?
To coin a phrase, it stinks. US elections are corrupt to the core.
For example... http://www.commondreams.org/headlines03/0828-08.htm - probably a biased site, but there are loads of more respected sites that corroborate it.Last edited by PM-Junkie; 2 September 2008, 16:03.Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
