If you think it's a choice then I think we're going to agree to disagree. If it's genetic then there's nothing they can do about it, in which case how can it be wrong, and why did nature make them that way?
Gay I believe to be the result of genetic make-up.
Homosexual can be by choice (many men become homosexual in prison, but remain hetero when free.Confusion is a natural state of beingComment

Can anybody produce a valid argument that disputes this fact.

In the reception area of the SU offices, there was a poster, the caption of which stated their view quite clearly. "Go on. Become homosexual".
My view is that while some people are more drawn to gaydom than others, it isn't pre-ordained. To that extent, it's a choice. And those who choose not to go that way aren't necessarily "denying their sexuality", as some would have you believe.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

In nature sports are usually weeded out by group or targeted first by predators.
Homosexual behaviour has been evidenced in the wild. This is usually an act of domination on one member lower in the pecking order. in chimpanzees and other primates this trait is non survival as the primary object is to achieve dominance and proliferate genetically by mating and producing young, those members of the group that exhibit predominantly homosexual tendencies are driven from the group and fail to survive and breed. twonkConfusion is a natural state of beingComment

When I said you were not totaly homophobic I meant it in the same way that apartheid isnt totaly racist.
If we are going down the what is natural route then marriage is not natural. All evidence would suggest we are not monogomous and that we would most likely conform to Alpha male reproduction within the pack.
I take it you "sex is for having babies" crowd dont use contraception and dont partake of oral sex, masturbation or (god forbid) anal sex? Seeing as how you dont like unnatural things I assume you live in caves, you hunt or gather your own materials for food and clothes and dont drive or fly. Or is it possible we have evolved to a different level from that?
I do not believe that being gay is a choice, for some maybe, but in my experience that isnt the case. I may be wrong, but science is yet to fall one way or the other.
If it is a choice then I would ask you homophobes when and how often you decided not to be attracted to that nice looking chap at the desk over there. I am naturaly drawn to good looking females and often say "cor I would" (mostly in my head) and occasionaly make a choice of "ooooh no thanks" but that choice never ever presents itself in my head in relation to another chap.
I am not going on wiht this argument as we ahve done it before and it goes nowhere.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

They are the same as Gays, a genetic dead end.
You really must stop bringing all this pathetic emotion into this as a valid factor.
