There's a slight flaw in that argument, all of the Dragon images are of winged quadrupeds. I'm not aware of anything vaguely similar in the fossil record bigger than an arthropod and they typically have more than 4 legs.

The reckon only something like 1 in a million of the species that ever existed are in the fossil record. Being fossilised for millions or billions of years is hard. And most of them were water-based (as opposed to solvent based obviously).

Something I struggle to understand about Evolution is how does something like the human eye, which would be worthless unless as is today, evolve?

Maybe when the they first designed the Chinese calendar, ALL the animals were mythical, but since then they've discovered that all apart from the dragon are real.
