In fairness I think AGW supporters are more interested in the next generation or two rather than millennia ahead, and it looks as though that trend is going to be warmer. Unless we stop breeding like flies, which ain't going to happen, especially with all the extra land that's going to become available I bet the average environmentalist has dozens of kids, while religiously using low wattages bulbs and owning a wind turbine

Not really. I don't have an agenda. The science and numbers make their case not the other way round.

It has become clear during the course of this thread that IT people have no idea of stats concepts like random variation, time series, confidence intervals, regression techniques, modelling etc all of which are necessary to understand the issues.

      They should start here:

What has NL to do with anything? Start a new thread on how crap they are and I'll join in.

                I blame the educashun system
You posted a link to a thoroughly daft "scientists talking balls" document. You must be either not reading the content, or falling for the old "If someone with letters after their name says so, then so it is." gag.

I countered your rather silly arguments to that paper. Those arguments indicated that you don't have the requisite knowledge to assess what they are talking about.
                    HTH

Your comments on the model were laughable.

So to summarise: more hot air and BS from the sceptics who clearly don't have the requisite knowledge or mental apparatus to understand the arguments in a complex topic.

                      Next!
