Another Monday morning
Over six years at the same client sight, with permies continuously whinging about the latest round of redundancies the whole time
I've seen contractors come and go, and I was supposed to only be here for three months whilst they recruited some permies to replace me, but they keep renewing and renewing
I've spent longer here than any permie job I had, now I'm seeing permies leaving enmasse, and all the contractors bar me going
Everyone else is demob happy, or grumpy over leaving or staying, me I'm just bored
Bored, bored, bored, but still carry on carry on, carry on invoicingSocialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

38°C to come, apparently.
We might get to find out at what temperature various bits of kit switch themselves off.
Based on a tale I heard in 2004 where a classroom of Macs were switching themselves off during a heatwave.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment

It's miserable, chucking it down and there is almost no visibility on the m4 due to clouds of mist, so many punters have responded by deciding not to put their lights on, especially the camo jeep doing 80Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes.
