    Morning.

    Woke up to heavy rain

So dark I needed lights at 7:30.

Would have slept in but a load of flies came in to get out of the wet and decided to dive bomb me.

Gag. At this time of year the sun should be hitting the balcony at that time.

11:30 (my time) and it's gone so dark it's like dusk.

Chucking it down again. Proper bouncing off the deck style.

    Bah humbug.

Was planning on a ramble in the hills to work up an appetite for lunch.

    Fed up.

    Morning.

    Dark.

    Dank.

    Dreary.

    Dripping

    Waiting for next downpour

    dire.

    Damp.

    Dreadful.

    Typical Welsh summer

    At least it's not snowing

    Yet

    Rain, rain, rain.

    All day long.

After a brief lapse into drizzle it's gone back to pouring down yet again.

    Fed up.

Fancied a pint out last night but had no cash so went to the hole in the wall.

Got caught in a proper downpour, as did a gaggle of young lasses.

That's odd, thought I, nobody was running for shelter.

They certainly would be running for shelter back in the UK.

The difference of course is that it's warm here.

Nobody is going to get pneumonia from a good soaking.
