            Heaviest rain I have ever seen* just swept through Hammersmith.


            * well, nearly the heaviest. Not as bad as I once saw in Cyprus, or North Wales, come to think of it. Actually, it wasn't as bad as some rain I once saw on telly, either. Still, you get my drift.

                It just hit Paddington too, but it wasn't of monsoon proportions, just very heavy & almost horizontal.
