BTW Diver, I was looking at a map the other day and was wondering if it's easy to swim to Sully Island in the Bristol Channel just off Sully (not that I'd try it this time of year).

Only if you can swim at eight knots minimum

You might do it in the lull between turn of the tide at low water on a small tide. There's a hell of a rip through there

Best off waiting for it to dry out and walk across
