What a difference the right clothes make. Yesterday I got bedragglified, but today I wore a waterproofish coat with hood, waterproofed ski trousers and shoes that don't leak as much. What a joy it was walking protected from the elements amongst the bedraggled, all warm and dry.Comment

Got caught in a proper downpour, as did a gaggle of young lasses.
That's odd, thought I, nobody was running for shelter.
They certainly would be running for shelter back in the UK.
The difference of course is that it's warm here.
