I found the fly swat.
On top of the dado rail.
Whatever a dado rail is supposed to be. The one in this room is at the 5 foot level.
I never thought of looking there.

Rain and more rain forecast.
In fact a thunderstorm is forecast, though I don't see how it can get much wetter.

Silly car has developed miss-fire. Car grinds to halt on hills. annoying all other drivers.
Bugger smashes into missus car. pushing radiator mount back 1/2" and smashing headlamp. No note left. Ahh the age of "er insurance will pay for it innit!"
Boiler fixed. man was in for 10 minutes. diagnosed pcb. £160 - (£120 part + £40) labour. I'm thinking of a career switch.
Still little work. Attempting to debug a site without a debugger. Hoor-F**king-ray
Highlight of day was The Big Bang Theory where Sheldon meets is girlfriend. LOOOL

After a thoroughly wet yesterday we had blue skies this morning, no a cloud in sight.
Clouds now a-coming, no doubt in preparation for a Wet Monday.Leave a comment:

Horse poo is great. Just muck it in with a double-dig end October or end February. Great prep for your veggie patchLeave a comment:

Zeity, have you pinched out the growing stem yet? I usually do at the end of august and expect most fruit to have ripened by the end of September. The idea being to concentrate the plants energy into ripening the fruit rather than growing foliage. You can remove the leaves below the first set of trusses (or the lowest set which have yet to ripen). Also, once the plant is knackered (first week in october for me normally), pick the fruit and leave it to ripen of it's own accord - mine last year were still coming good in November.Originally posted by zeitghost View PostStill no ripe tomatoes.
As a tip for next year, if you can procure a carrier bag full of sheep tulip, bung this in a bucket and top up with water then once a week dilute the resultant liquid in a watering can like you do with tomato feed (probably 4 parts water to 1 tulipty water). Works a treat!Leave a comment:
