    Sunny in the sticks

    Sunny in the city

Stuck in an office with very little natural light

      Sunny at home.
      Sunny on arrival at office.
      Now clouding over.

Clear blue skies, hazy in the distance.

The sun has got his hat on.

        Still cool, but warmng up.

Army out on the river. Does that make it "Squaddies on the Water"?

Lovely and peaceful in the office.

        Loads of Microsoft Updates downloading.

System ground to a halt (momentarily, but it doesn't bode well).

          Cold and grey.
          Train on time.

Forgot my season ticket on Friday. Had to buy a single to get home.

Went to ticket office to apply for a refund on Monday. "You'll have to go to the station where you bought the season ticket."

Went to that ticket office monday evening. "Oh yes, just fill out this form, no problem."

Tuesday evening, got off the train. Tannoy announcement "Would Mr DaveB travelling from Leeds please contact the ticket office."

"Sorry, you need to take the form to the ticket office where you bought the single ticket, we can't do it here."

          <sighs>"Ok, I'll do it tommorow."

This morning, got to the station. Tannoy announcement "Would Mr DaveB travelling to Leeds please contact the ticket office."

"Sorry, again, we can do it here, we just need a photo copy of your Travel Card."

I eagerly await developments on my arrival this evening!

Bright blue skies with a light breeze and a few whispy clouds in the distance.

Got to the station 5 mins ahead of plan, providing sufficient time for orangina and pastry.

Ferry was quiet but I stood outside watching the other boats.

            In a good mood today for two reasons;

            1) Currywurst for lunch
            2) It's going home day

            All is tickety-boo.

Have not seen as much as a cloud for the last two weeks.

Back in Zurich today and it's raining
