Despite the journey home being just 20 minutes, we talk at lunch time and on my way home. So by the time I get home, I can just relax.

Women don't really want to talk - they want to unburden themselves which they can only do by releasing the troublesome thoughts as words out of their mouths.

They don't really care what you think, they just want to have told you about it.

My argument was that single people are emotionally stronger (read: bitter) becuase if you have a tulip day (e.g. at work) you're on your own and have to deal with it. Where as couples, especially those living together have someone else to support them.

It's so true - when I read this I got goose pimples
