Look again the the silver disk, does it have any markings?:
It is a small, unremarkable, unmarked silver disc, about 50mm in diameter and 3mm thick, it appears to be made of stainless steel.Comment

Although my geekdar goes off the scale when I read this thread and despite the butt-clenching embarrassment I feel at the geektastic effort many of you have put in, none more so than realityhack who has seriously outdone himself here, I won't be going out of my way to (1) read this thread (it hurts when I do) or (2) award Xeno Geek Points here (although I have awarded some already of course).
This is due to the fact that I don't want this thread to be a vehicle to quickly and easily obtain Xeno Geek Points and it could easily become just that.
However, the very high geek nature of this thread is recognised. Therefore, I make the following announcement and my final post in this thread:
*All Xeno Geek Points already awarded in this thread remain.
*In addition, the following posters are awarded +15 Xeno Geek Points:
Ruprect
The Lone Gunman
Moscow Mule
oracleslave
BrilloPad
FiveTimes
boo.boo
chef
*realityhack is awarded +20 Xeno Geek Points.
Xeno Geek Points are utterly priceless. This generous allocation of Xeno Geek Points is unlikely to be seen for a long time, if ever again. +5 will continue to be the standard total awarded for a post that I believe scores highly on geekiness.
