Here's a challenge to you. Don't give us a chart off some blog, yet another piece of selective information that you people who appear to know absolutely nothing about the basic physics pass around among yourselves, give us us a real link referencing the actual research with dates. If we can read it for ourselves we might take it seriously.
That chart appears to one be of a number that gave "mixed results" using surface temperature measurements only, the most recent research by NASA (but what would they know?) using more advanced sensors shows significant warming in Antartica. I daresay you also think global warming stopped in 1999 (not according to NASA) or has never happened in the Southern hemisphere (ditto).
While I would not state manmade global warming is a fact, every time I look at the arguments I find the pros have more grasp of the facts.

The ramblings and selective data of some dimwit with an axe to grind and a blog to grind it on mean nothing. Do you even understand what science is?
NASA data has been found to be in-accurate as well. I dont take them very seriously when it comes to climate change. They retrospectively changed data they didnt collect to suit thier modelling.. hardly scientific.. actually just propoganda.. they should stick to space science.
As said on my blog item, we are not simply arguing about theory but even the basic facts. This makes it very difficult for us amateurs to make any decision. It becomes like a game of poker with each of us crying "there, trump that". So here you are, raise you 5 quid.
Personally, given all these "experts" trotting out contradictory facts and theories, I think any certainty should be impossible. I only know that every time I look into it I see ridiculous contradictions in the anti theories, eg a) global warming is not really happening b) Yes, it is happening but is not man made and is all due to solar activity or the cause is unknown. Sometimes you see these contradictory things quoted on sites that link to each other. Often when I check I also find that the experts quoted, as with your link, are not experts at all (although I concede that a mining expert could have relevant knowledge)
I simply find the pros to be generally the more convincing, they are more consistent, more expert and less hysterical. Also, as a chemical engineeer with a simulation background I find the physics makes sense.
