Crikey. How did you discover those hidden gems?

I remember Jeremy Beadle advertising a bundle of tosh films with a £49 DVD player on some shopping channel.

£200 worth of movies apparently thrown in with this marvel of technology. I nearly phoned up and quoted my credit card number.

Come on guys less of the false macho posturing, Brokeback Mountain wasn't that bad a movie. A gay cowboy version of Brief Encounter can't be that bad surely ?

Now if you want really bad, try watching films at the Directors Fortnight during the Cannes Film Festival.

If you are unlucky enough dig out a Macedonian film called "I come from Titov Veles" the most unremittingly pointless and depressing film I have ever seen.

The only bright point is that a friend left the director speechless with anger during the Q+A session

But the most recent god awful film was David Lynch's "Inland Empire"... I defy you to watch that from start to finish; it made NO sense even if you attempted to analyse it at a very abstract level.

I love that film

On the first viewing it indeed does appear to be nonsense but things do link up with more viewings.

What enjoyment could a heterosexual male get from watching a film about two gay men?
