While we are on the politically correct theme. I saw a government billboard poster this weekend advertising training. With a tagline something like "Since I've had HIV it's made me concentrate on my learning needs"
WTF has HIV got to do with retraining? The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -

I'd guess that having HIV is an impairment to being employed. So retraining at the govt's cost seems like a reasonable option.Originally posted by Bagpuss View PostWTF has HIV got to do with retraining?Comment

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ay-haunts.htmlLast year four firefighters were disciplined for allegedly disturbing a group of men at night by shining their torches into the bushes on the Downs. After complaints that their actions were homophobic, the four senior officers from Avon Fire Service were fined and transferred to other stations.Comment
