Why does this standard kilogram have to be spherical?

Wouldn't it be far easier to grow/grind a perfect cube shaped crystal?

A sphere only requires you to be accurate in one measurement, the radius. If you know that accurately you can calculate all the other properties of the sphere with the same degree of accuracy.

With a cube you need 3 measurements, that all have to be equally accurate, and do a lot more calculations to ensure the plane surfaces are truly flat.

The size and shape of your scrotum changes due to temperature.

If it's cold then your scrotum shrinks.

If it's warm then the scrotum will stretch to move your testes further away from your body to regulate the temperature of your testes.
