An interesting comment under that article:

"Luckily I have a dedicated Credit Card for internet transactions and picked it up straight away."

    Not a bad idea.

I do that too after being subject to identity fraud some time ago.

Yep, with credit cards it's the card providers / retailers responsibility for any fraud. With debit card's it's yours.

Something to do with consumer credit laws
        Still Invoicing

However, when you place an order, you are given the chance to participate in another special offer. That is this tenner a moth malarkey.

I read the small print the first time I saw it a few years ago and decided it looked not worthwhile so never bothered.

But if you don't read the small print, it is a very attractive offer.
Likewise, no major issues with them except for constant 'free' offers.

Although I do recall that they do a 'fill in our questionnaire for a free £10 voucher' everytime you order but I never bother. I would assume this is th source.

I never filled in any questionairre and hadn't used them since January, but suddenly without consent they are signing people up to help themselves to other peoples money.

                koonts.

That, I believe, is the scam under discussion. At first glance it looks like a good idea, but it ain't.

                      DO NOT BUY FROM VistaPrint.

I'm still trying to sort this out, months after it started.

The banks can do nothing to stop them billing and you can never stop the charges to your account.
I had a similar problem, the bank said they could not help. To cut a long story short, the bank was were wrong and were obliged to stop them. It took several hours on the phone to sort it out, The trick is not to give up and talk to the top people in the bank
