I'm reliably informed that, when it comes to these modern surveillance systems and computer databases, those that have done nothing wrong have nothing to worry about. It is a pity that you did not write to confirm what they said. Now the only proof you have of the original transaction was the tapes that are in TfL's possession.
Indeed with anything legal it is always worth having a written copy of what was said - even to the extent of having the letters delivered registered post - thereby ensuring that there is a paper trail showing actual delivery.Comment
