Is that not the retractable roof they are building?

My recommendation is court 13 and 18 if you have ground passes.

You should venture out of that cave a bit more often BGG.
Oh dear...I assume he's dead then ? Oops.

      I'm currently at a crossroads, where I can go N or S.
There is an alcove in the wall here, with a statue of a Faerie Dragon.
To the North, I can hear gurgling water. To the West I can see a glowing light. There are no other exits. The air in the cave is wet and tasts of tapioca pudding. Gordon Brown is here.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Nope - that's a valid 'in' joke. Along with shouting 'come on Tim!' every once in a while, preferably in a final, in Centre Court.

We were once watching Conchita Martinez on 13, and she was saying 'point' every time she scored one, which was annoying her opponent no end. When we (at the front, no more than 3 metres away from her) started doing the same when Conchita lost a point - she really didn't like that at all - kept looking around and scowling but couldn't see it was us. She lost that game. Never did like her.

Nope, it looks like they've rebuilt the whole of center court. All of the outer courts were ripped up to make way for the builders - I assume they've put them back down, but don't expect it to be the same

Futurewife is a member of the Wimbledon Club opposite so I've driven past it a few times.

          Edit - found a map http://aeltc.wimbledon.org/images/about/2008_3d_map.pdf - 13 is no more...

I haven't played since I was at school, but isn't that sort of the way tennis works?

Not in mixed doubles - which always sounds like a seventies porn movie

Dull dull dull dull dull dull dull!

Would rather watch American Football or the Varsity Boat Race (or watch the grass grow).
