The reason why libertarianism has never worked in the long run (and it has been tried, most notably in the early years of the US) is that, just like communism, it goes against basic human needs and drives. The urge for power is too strong for politicians to resist, and so whatever their initial motives, in the end government grows too large.
    Hard Brexit now!

So rather than hope the Tories get in, why not put all your effort into joining the very rich?

I didn't go looking for this, but it does offend my libertarian views enough to stop me joining:

We cannot accept individuals as members to our Party if they are currently members of any other UK registered political party.
Why not? If, for example, I were to believe in liberty and in independence for Scotland, why not LPUK and SNP?

So what you are saying is, it failed because people didn't want it to work?(Another complete condradiction from the twitguru).

Which side are you on? (The reason you don't agree with it, is because other people don't agree with it FFS)

I wouldn't agree that it has failed in the US, it has just been eroded significantly.

Doh! Not terribly bright are you? You're clearly don't work in IT, you're not bright enough.

I'm brighter than you, at least I can argue, all you are able to do - day after day after day - is insult, and not very well at that.

(And I have worked in IT for 15 years)

Doing what? Your lack of logic would suggest that it's not at the sharp end.

Logic? I haven't seen any evidence of your logic. Insults ad infinitum are not logic.

You wouldn't know what logic was if it reared up and slapped you in the face.
Actually that has happened several times on here

Is the phrase "Get a room" still funny?

                      Just wondering like.
