    Not going down that road.

I’ve pretty much stopped bingeing and I’ve got a lot more control over when and how much I do drink now. A lot of the time now I’m not drinking because I just don’t feel like it or I want a clear head or am going to the gym. I don’t feel like it’s in control of me which I have felt before :/

FFS, get rid. It won't stop there!
That’s what other people are saying, we’ve been together for 11 years now so it’s hard but I’m being quite firm (not aggressively) about how the pressure from her is more of a problem than anything else. I have to tread carefully as her mum died a few months ago so she’s quite fragile at the mo.

Yes, moderate drinking negates liver disease, that is caused by excessive drinking.

So long as the police let me go in the morning and my hands don’t shake too much then I’d say most days I don’t have a problem with drink.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Pretty much the same for certain red wines in my book too.

Other people have social lives IN heir houses....not everyone is a saddo like you for example. They have otherhalves, big families - a social network under their own roof. Do they all have problems if they have a glass of wine with each other over a meal for example?

Sally, you see no adverse health problems in taking class A drugs. Hardly the first person to be dishing out advice on alcohol abuse either. There is probably nothing you don't do to excess which might explain why you weigh the same as two people.

I couldn't give a tommy tit what you get up to, but someone who needs to drink every day has a problem in my book. Alcohol isn't a staple of everyday life.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

You criticise the speck of sawdust in SA's eye, maybe you should remove the plank of wood from your own eye first and then you could see more clearly to comment.

Oh the missing word finally appears.

Nice of you to finally spell out what it was you were talking about.

Some people do drink everyday and it isn't a problem, it isn't so simple to say just because people drink everyday it is wrong or excessive. I have friends in Italy and France who have wine most days with meals and it isn't excessive in the least.

You might want to look at why you have the need to be so judgemental and controlling.

And as for class A drugs, I doubt you've had that much adventure.
