The one time I went, I saw a spectacular faint. Guy, about 6 foot tall, after donating, standing in the middle of the room with his feet together, topples over backward. He fell like a falling bookcase, he didn't crumple at all. His whole straight body simply rotated 90 degrees relative to his heels until his head and shoulders hit the floor. I was amazed that he wasn't seriously hurt. In fact I don't know that he wasn't seriously hurt, as I left shortly afterwards, but he was conscious when I left.Comment

It's not a fear of pain, I'm totally needle phobic, pathetic I know.
On the plus side my now ex wife and her Mother have numerous badges for donating loads of times, I do know it doesn't make up for me being feeble over the matter though.Comment
