re: giving blood in the States - you can't, or in Europe for that matter. You're an infected Brit (with mad cow's disease).

Used to give regularly whilst living in the UK. Tried to give once in Europe, but they said "you're British, you're not allowed due to BSE"

I’m not allowed to give blood in NL as I spent several years living in Britain; something to do with exposure to BSE.

WHS plus I had major blood transfusions in the 80's. Also had Green Monkey Disease and Tick Bite Fever
