You want a big chested horse. Lungs like a barrel.
You want a stayer not a sprinter.
Look back for a 3+ miler in early Jan. Then rested till the National.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

I have only bet on the National once. I bet on a horse called Dark Ivy.
